UX/UI Design & Prototyping
An application that provides a safe social space for pregnant women and mothers on maternity leave to connect and support each other.
The app will allow users to select their location and join or plan activities, creating a safe space for a target audience.

I conducted market research to identify existing applications and gather insights into target audience preferences. I interviewed my sister, a first-time pregnant woman, to learn how her social life had changed, the challenges she faced, and the activities she would like to see on the platform.
I asked questions like:
What features would you like to see in the app?
How do you typically interact with new people?
What social activities interest you?
Do you prefer group gatherings or smaller ones?
Do you enjoy planning social events?
The UI is designed to be warm, welcoming, and easy to navigate, offering options based on user preferences. It incorporates digital illustrations, soft colors, and a safe environment. Prototyping added animation to the illustrations, bringing them to life. Users can choose an avatar if they feel uncomfortable at public events.
Avatars:
Users can choose to remain anonymous by using avatars instead of personal photos, allowing them to engage comfortably in social interactions.
Community:
Users can share experiences and advice within a supportive community, helping each other navigate the challenges of pregnancy and motherhood.
Event Creation and Participation:
Moms can either join existing events or create their own, enabling them to plan activities that suit their interests and schedules.
